ESTATES SENTIMENTAL JOURNEY Sentimental Journey's sire is Snowmass Andean Midnight, our dynamite true black male with extreme fineness. His grandsire is none other than Andean Bronze, the sire of Royal Bronze - from Snowmass' vicuna type alpaca retaining fineness under 20 microns after reaching maturity. Andean Midnight is also sire of 26x champion, Estates Stradivarius! Sentimental Journey's maternal grandsire (out of dam, Cecelia) is the well-known CPeruvian Axtion Jaxon, a non-Fading True Black who won GET OF SIRE at the 2005 Mid America Show competing against two strong whites (a rare winning for a black). Axtion Jaxon passes on color, fineness and tight crimp, and his micron in 2000 was only 18.4! Her maternal granddam Clarisa is a full Peruvian female sired by CPeruvian Black Hawk and has Timoteo and Drambuie in her ancestry. She has medium frequency crimp and an excellent density fleece. Sentimental Journey is passing down those champion genes. Her first pregnancy produced PATAGONIA ESTATES SAKIMA, a multiple blue ribbon winning son out of our Patagonia's Chilkoot. Sakima brought home 6 Black Championships, along with winning numerous Blue Ribbons, and has joined our black breeding program! Offspring: On 6/6/15, Sentimental Journey presented us with PATAGONIA ESTATES SAKIMA, a gorgeous true black male sired by Patagonia's Chilkoot. Sakima has been a member of our 2016 - 2018 show strings and is currently a 6x Black Champion along with winning numerous Blue Ribbons! On 7/4/16, Sentimental Journey gave us a pretty dark brown female also sired by Lennox son, Patagonia's Chilkoot. On 6/14/17, Sentimental Journey gave birth to a lovely true black female, again sired by Patagonia's Chilkoot. On 6/21/18, Sentimental Journey presented us with a beautiful bay black female sired by Estates Satin Cloud, our outstanding true black 8x Champion out of Snowmass Satin Reserve XX! On 6/8/19, Sentimental Journey had a handsome true black male. On 6/23/20, Sentimental Journey gave us an adorable dark brown female sired by our incredible Matrix son, Snowmass Pure Passion. In 2022, Sentimental Journey presented us with a cute true black male cria. On 9/12/25, Sentimental Journey gave us a good-looking bay black male sired by 12x Champion, Alpaca Palace Zagato's Jay-Z.

Patagonia Estates Sakima is a gorgeous jet-black male with fine, bright, and amazingly dense fleece. When you touch this fleece, your heart will melt! His fabulous dense bundling goes from head to tail, and from back to underbelly, and into his legs. He has a very soft handle, good substance of bone, excellent conformation, lock and character are extremely nice, and magnificent head and leg coverage. Genetics for Sakima include Snowmass Andean Midnight and Patagonia's Lennox, a magical combination for success! Sakima’s sire, Patagonia's Chilkoot (Lennox son), was assessed by Amanda VandenBosch as an "A-" having "excellent fiber coverage with great phenotype." His dam, Estates Sentimental Journey, is a dynamite solid black foundation dam out of the Snowmass line and Peruvian line. Both dam and sire had some show winnings
