Snowmass Truly Invincible, her sire, has himself produced a great number of blacks. The other great treasure in the Promise line is Velvet Promises Grand Dam, 6520 Peruvian Black Lace. Sadly, our beautiful girl passed away yesterday at the age of 16 years. Offspring: In 2010, Velvet Promise had SNOWMASS VELVET LEGEND, a gorgeous bright Fawn male sired by Snowmass Sterling Legend, an ultra-fine "Royal Black" Snowmass Nova son. Sterling Legend was the Black Color Champion in the 2009 World Fleece Show and is the sire of our Janus' Blue Crystal (Grey Champion) and many other award winners! Velvet Legend won 3rd Place at the 2011 Gold Country Gathering. In 2011, Velvet Promise gave birth to SNOWMASS MATRIX MIDNIGHT VELVET, a beautiful TB female sired by Snowmass Matrix Midnight. This will be the first genetic combination of its kind which makes it very hard to let go of. We know this will be a magnificent cria and have a strong bet it will be as Black as Midnight himself. In 2013, Velvet Promise had ESTATES PLATINUM STEEL PROMISE, an attractive MSG female sired by NeverSummer's US Steel. In 2014, Velvet Promise gave birth to ESTATES VELVET VENECIAN, a lovely TB female, out of Chief Grey Feather. Grey Feather has passed along brightness, fineness and density to each cria that has hit the ground so far! In 2016, Velvet Promise had ESTATES SATIN VALOR, a handsome TB male sired by Snowmass Satin Reserve XX, our true black stud with superior royal black lineage. Satin Valor won 3rd Place at the 2018 Southern Select Show and several other ribbons during the 2018 show season. In 2018, Velvet Promise gave us ESTATES SATIN PROMISE, a beautiful BB female sired by multi-champion, Estates Satin Cloud (Satin Cloud was exported Sweden so this is your chance to get his rare genetics!). In 2021, Velvet Promise gave birth to a pretty TB female sired by Estates Satin Cloud's Sebastian. In 2022, Velvet Promise presented us with a good-looking true black male sired by 6x Black Champion, Patagonia Estates Sakima. In 2023, Velvet Promise gave us a beautiful true black female also sired by our champion-producer, Patagonia Estates Sakima.

SNOWMASS MIDNIGHT GAZE Sadly we lost our beautiful Midnight Gaze last night. We are devastated. Little Creek Farm says, "One of the best-fleeced animals these white alpaca breeders have ever produced and gasp she’s a roan. Nor was Midnight Gaze the only incredible cria her sire Divine Optics produced in his first year. We are so high on these genetics. We suggest you breed this National Show blue ribbon winner to Snowmass Best Bet or the blue black EEF Incognito." Midnight Gaze has had a stellar career, earning Judge's Select at the 2024 PNAA IFA Fleece Show and 19X Championship banners (including 2025 AOA National Fleece Show & 2025 The Futurity)! Senior judge, Amanda VandenBosch, also presented Midnight Gaze with the Most Uniform designation at the 2024 PNAA IFA Fleece Show (*Awarded to the total highest score given for measured micron uniformity, visual uniformity, uniformity of length & lack of fibers greater than >30)!
