We couldn’t begin to address all the accolades associated with the prominent alpaca names on Gertrude’s pedigree in this brief writing. Suffice it to say that her relatives as far back as those four columns reveal (and beyond) represent a very important component of the North American alpaca’s history. Gertrude honors that certificate by her shear (pun intended) quality. Her stunning fleece is highly organized and elite in every way. We especially prefer her radiant brightness and well-defined staples formed in tangent with excellent staple length.

Gertrude is the daughter of Liberty's Manifest-Destiny, a 4X Judges Choice Winner + 13X Champion. Her exquisite maternal grandparents are Liberty’s Magna Carta (15X champion, 3x Judges Choice and AOA Dark Supreme Female Champion) and Snowmass Mr. Sizlin Rose (an exceptional twelve-time champion, including the 2012 AOBA National Alpaca Show Halter Color Champion and 2012 The Futurity Halter Color Champion. Snowmass MR Sizlin Rose won the 2016 Huacaya Herdsire of The Year, large breeder Division, as well as the 2017 Reserve Herdsire Of The Year Dark-colored offspring, large breeder Division. An incredible 134 CHAMPIONSHIP BANNERS have been won by his offspring!) Her maternal grandsire, Snowmass Everlasting Highlander XX is a Futurity multiple blue-ribbon winner with Top 1% EPDs.
