CRESCENT MOON'S GERTRUDE We couldn’t begin to address all the accolades associated with the prominent alpaca names on Gertrude’s pedigree in this brief writing. Suffice it to say that her relatives as far back as those four columns reveal (and beyond) represent a very important component of the North American alpaca’s history. Gertrude honors that certificate by her shear (pun intended) quality. Her stunning fleece is highly organized and elite in every way. We especially prefer her radiant b ...

ESTATES KILIMANJARO II BY PAULINUS
Kilimanjaro represents a rare alignment of multi-generational champion genetics, offering a pedigree that reads like a "who’s who" of the alpaca industry. He is the son of the legendary Crescent Moon's Paulinus, a 6x Judge’s Choice recipient and 16x Champion. This elite lineage is further solidified by his paternal grandsire, Crescent Moon’s Sizzlin Shak, whose progeny include icons like the 21x Champion Crescent Moon’s Anaerobico. Most notably, Kilimanjaro carries the blood of his paternal great-grandsire, Snowmass Mr Sizlin Rose—the 2016 Huacaya Herdsire of the Year whose offspring have amassed an astounding 134 Championship banners.

The maternal side of Kilimanjaro’s pedigree is equally formidable, anchored by his dam, Crescent Moon's Gertrude. A decorated 5x Judge’s Choice and 12x Champion, Gertrude has transitioned from a stellar show career into a premier foundation female, passed down a fleece characterized by radiant brightness, elite organization, and exceptional staple length. Her sire, Liberty's Manifest-Destiny, brings another 4x Judge’s Choice and 13x Champion titles to the table. With a maternal line that includes the AOA Dark Supreme Female Champion, Liberty’s Magna Carta, and the Top 1% EPD powerhouse Snowmass Everlasting Highlander XX, Kilimanjaro is backed by a density of quality that is statistically and visually undeniable.

True to his heritage, Kilimanjaro is already proving to be a "chip off the old block" in the show ring, demonstrating the physical presence, fleece architecture, and deep-rooted ancestry of a potential cornerstone herdsire. He made an impressive debut at the 2026 National Western Stock Show, securing a Blue Ribbon and signaling the start of what promises to be a decorated career. He followed that up with a Color Championship banner at the 2026 Golden West Alpaca Expo Halter show and a Reserve Championship banner at the 2026 Golden West Alpaca Expo for Walking Fleece show. In addition, judge Wade Gease also awarded him a Blue Ribbon at the 2026 Wild West Alpaca Show. We are thrilled to announce that Kilimanjaro just brought home a Blue ribbon and Reserve Champion banner at the 2026 AOA National Show (*Color Champion was ranch-mate, CCNF Bellieveitornot). Please continue to watch for him on our show string.

1st Place, 2026 National Western Stock Show: Halter, Huacaya Brown Juvenile Male (Class of 2) (Judge: Jacob Hart) (Judge's Comments: "In the class of two juvenile Huacaya males, this male is certainly very impressive. It was a competitive class here. He is maintaining a high degree of staple length for the time of growth, and he’s maintaining a very organized fleece from skin to tip. Extremely riddled with crimp structure, and he’s maintaining a high degree of brightness as well and shows very minimal variation from one section to the next. So this male certainly is off to a very impressive start. Congratulations.")
