Everyone loves Bertie Lou!
Such a lovely young female and one that we knew was special the minute she hit the ground.
Bertie carries the fleece qualities so prevalent in .38 Special's offspring. Her fleece is extremely fine and uniform across her entire blanket. Her 9-month fiber stats were MFD 16.9, SD 3.3, CV 19.4, 0.3%>30.
Clearly Bertie's 2nd fleece is maintaining its quality as this is what brought her to the top of the field when she received the Color Champion at her first show as a yearling in October against extremely stiff competition.
Bertie Lou was bred to Estates Satin Sebastian for a July 2025 cria.

On 7/17/14, Bertie Lou gave birth to a True Black male, sired by Snowmass Satin Reserve.
On 7/17/15, Bertie Lou had a good-looking Bay Black male, sired by NS Magic Flight.
On 8/7/16, Bertie Lou gave birth to a beautiful True Black female, sired by Patagonia's Baccus. Her daughter, Estates Magnificent Obsession has produced several champions for us, including 5x Champion, Estates Zorro the Magnificent.
On 9/12/17, Bertie Lou presented us with a handsome dark brown male, sired by our wonderful 8x Champion, Estates Satin Cloud.
On 9/25/19, Bertie Lou gave us a stunning True Black male sired by 6x Color Champion, Patagonia Estates Sakima. ESTATES SAKIMA'S BRAXTON is an 12X Champion! We are so excited to announce that Braxton has been awarded the Color Championship in the Black Male Invited Champions at the 2021 National Alpaca Show in Grand Island Nebraska!
On 7/3/21, Bertie Lou presented us with a beautiful true black female also sired by our champion producer, Patagonia Estates Sakima.
On 8/30/22, Bertie Lou gave us a handsome true black male sired by our newest champion service sire, Estates Chief Black Hawk (out of Patagonia’s Chief).
