THE PERFECT HONEYMOON BHAR
We added Honeymoon to our herd thanks to our friends at "Big Hat Ranch". We especially liked her bloodlines which included Bueno and Compadre and felt that she would be an excellent match for .38 Special. Honeymoon is a wonderfully mellow girl and always brings a smile to my face. The photo of her with a livestock guardian was taken just two days before giving birth!
Honeymoon's father, Mile High The Reverend Mr. Black, is a three time color champion during his short show career and the father of multiple champion offspring. Her 1/2 brother, Mile High Deacon Grey has been awarded 14 championships, including the Color Champion at the 2007 Futurity and 2009 AOBA National Show.
Offspring:
Her first cria was a beautiful Black Ice daughter who received a 2nd Place in a hugely competitive Futurity class in 2011. (Watch for "Consequences" in the ring in 2012)
On 8/20/11, Honeymoon blessed us with a wonderful, Bay Black, Aussie .38 Special daughter! Such a lovely, fine, crimpy, bright, DENSE fleece and an O00H! AAAHH moment when we cria-sheared her. "Bertie Lou" is one of our favorites this year. NEVERSUMMER'S BERTIE LOU brought home 2 Color Championship banners & Multiple Blue Ribbons in the 2012 show season!
On 6/28/13, Honeymoon presented us with a beautiful Light Rose Grey female out of Aussie .38 Special.
On 4/27/16, Honeymoon gave us a pretty True Black female sired by our gorgeous Snowmass Satin Reserve.
In 2017, Honeymoon gave birth to a handsome true black male cria.
In 2018, Honeymoon gave us an attractive black male cria.
On 5/12/21, Honeymoon presented us with a good-looking light fawn male sired by our incredible Snowmass Pure Passion.
