ANDINA'S EFFIE
Effie is the daughter of 4x Champion, Crescent Moon's Nitro. Her paternal grandsire, Crescent Moon’s Kryptonite, is an 8x Champion who has won 10 First Place awards. Kryptonite was a 2002 Futurity Champion! In addition, Kryptonite was a National Champion in 2002 & 2003. He was also the Futurity Reserve Black Male Champion. He won six additional Championships under many different judges & spanning three spring show seasons. In 2006, Kryptonite was sold for 1/2 interest for $175,000 making him second in line as the highest priced black alpaca ever sold.
Her dam, Fir Cove's Paula, has a nice pedigree as well. She is the daughter of black multi-champion, MSA Pinot Noir, who took the Black Color Champion ribbon as well as the first-place ribbon at both the 2003 AWE and 2003 Empire Alpaca Extravaganza shows. Pinot Noir is also producing ribbon winning offspring, including Champions and Reserve Champions. Paula's maternal grandsire is Sinopsis Nocturna 527, a jet-black male best known for his fine, fine fleece.
Her 2024 EPDs had Three traits ranking in the Top 25%.
Effie was bred back to our 6X Champion, Patagonia Estates Sakima for a July 2026 cria.
Offspring:
On 5/23/18, Effie gave birth to a gorgeous true black male sired by Amber Autumn Night Out. Andina's Blues in Night won Color Champion at the 2019 A-OK Alpaca Blast Off, 1st Place at the 2019 AOA National Show (Amber Autumn Troy won Color Champ), and several other ribbons in 2019. Blues in Night has now joined our breeding program at Alpaca Country Estates.
On 5/17/20, Effie had a pretty true black female sired by Amber Autumn Troy.
On 5/19/21, Effie gave birth to a lovely true black female also sired by Amber Autumn Troy.
On 5/10/22, Effie presented us with a beautiful true black female again sired by Amber Autumn Troy.
On 6/17/23, Effie gave birth to a handsome true black male cria also sired by our multi-champion, Amber Autumn Troy.
On 6/14/24, Effie presented us with a beautiful true black female sired by 8x Champion, Irish Meadows' Peruvian Showtime.
On 6/27/25, Effie gave us a good-looking true black male sired by our 6X Champion, Patagonia Estates Sakima.
