ANDINA'S BLUES IN NIGHT
Blues in Night is a handsome new addition to our breeding program. Blues in Night is a very fitting name as he is a very handsome blue-black son of 5x Champion, Amber Autumn Night Out. This is your chance to obtain limited and top-notch genetics only found at Alpaca Country Estates. Blue’s sire, Amber Autumn Night Out, has top-shelf pedigree includes names like Jolimont 2 Peruvian Sweet William, Eclipse Alyst, Peruvian Bueno and NGG Lionel. Eclipse Alyst is know to pass on extremely fine fleece. It was heaviest fleece year after year at Amber Autumn Alpacas.

His dam, Andina's Effie, is a stud dam who consistently produces foundation females and black offspring. She is the daughter of 4x Champion and AOBA National Black Reserve Champion, Crescent Moon's Nitro. Her paternal grandsire, Crescent Moon’s Kryptonite, is an 8x Champion who has won 10 First Place awards. Kryptonite was a 2002 Futurity Champion, as well as a National Champion in 2002 & 2003! He was also a Futurity Reserve Black Male Champion. The championship genetics behind Blues are limited, his sire has produced only one male offspring. ALL of his paternal and maternal siblings are foundation stock here at ACE.

Blues brought home a Color Championship banner from the 2019 A-OK Alpaca Blast Off show, and several ribbons during the 2019 show season, including a FIRST-place ribbon at the 2019 AOA National Show! The championship genetics behind Blues are limited, his sire has only had one male offspring.

Blues in Night stands out with a strong frame, with big bones, straight back, and oodles of fiber in his blanket, well covered legs, and gorgeous wedge head! His fleece is dreamy soft with a beautiful crimp style, brightness and incredible staple length that runs consistent through his blanket. Blues has a straight back and legs. His 2023 fleece was still incredibly soft, with fantastic staple length, great uniformity of micron, beautiful and consistent crimp style.

We have started breeding this jet-black male and are quite pleased with the result. Blues is recreating his own phenotype and fleece attributes in his cria. While Blues babies are just starting to arrive, we are thrilled that 80% of them are blue-black! With an abundance of beautiful black herdsires to utilize, we have relied on the more well-known males. At this time, Blues in Night is not being utilized nearly enough. Contact us if you need to add a Champion true black producing herdsire to your farm!
