PATAGONIA'S LENNOX: Patagonia’s Lennox is one of the Greats!..As assessed by senior judge, Amanda VandenBosch, Lennox born in 2002 was an “A” quality herdsire in 2014. He has lingering fineness, bright, dense fleece, with a long staple length, typey head and compact body. His shiny brown fleece shimmers in the sunlight even to this day. Lennox made a mark for not only himself, but for Alpacas de le Patagonia, siring a multitude of quality offspring including champions and many progenies that are currently top breeding herdsires and foundation producing dams. His show wins are numerous with Color Championships, Get of Sire, and Blues, and in addition, his offspring have received multitudes of banners and ribbons. Lennox has produced black, brown, fawn, white and grey offspring. Patagonia’s Lennox had a skin biopsy of Density: 83.25 SQ MM (Rates in the top 0.5 % of all alpacas tested by Dr. Evans) S/P Ratio: 10.8 to 1 and this Histogram in 2004 year was: Histogram: 20.2afd/4.1sd/20.0cv/1.6%>30 (taken at 2 years of age) REMARKABLE SHOW RECORD: Lennox's outstanding achievements are too numerous to list. A AND A & MFI QUIXOTIC We are exhilarated to add A and A & MFI Quixotic to our herdsire line up! We expect phenomenal results crossing him over the foundation females at ACE. We can’t wait for him to arrive and start breeding. We were swooned by his offspring including multi champions like: Quixotic’s Man of Steel, EEF Going Rogue, and KBA’s Quix Step. He passes his amazing qualities to his offspring including great coverage, thick bone, correct conformation and bite, and incredible fine fleece with excellent uniformity. We co-own him with Majestic Meadows. The following is their description of this outstanding male. “Quixotic’s dam, Starry Night’s Quetzal, was purchased at the prestigious 2008 All American Alpaca Futurity. To say that this dam is impressive is an understatement. She was a gorgeous dark silver-grey female with incredible fleece character and rare density. Quixotic’s dam was bred to Majestic Peruvian Jeremiah the first year and the result was the famous multiple champion A & A and MFI Quatrain purchased by Coffee Pot, Whistler’s Glen, Applewood Farm and Tangled Oaks at the 2010 Breeders Choice Auction. The second year she was bred Jeremiah’s paternal brother MFI Peruvian Formula 1, co-owned by Magical Farms and Flying Pony Alpacas and the result was A and A & MFI Quixotic!! Quixotic is phenotypically gorgeous and his fleece is outstanding. As a very young juvenile his fleece won First Place and Grey Male Color Champion at the 2011 AOBA National Fleece Show…an amazing accomplishment for a juvenile grey fleece. Quixotic's crias hit the ground for us starting in 2015 and we have been thrilled at what he is adding to our program here! Several of his offspring have been out and about in the showring and have earned top awards at several highly competitive shows, earning both champions and Judges’ Choice awards. Cloverleaf Alpacas Man of Steel is just one example of the quality we are seeing in Quixotic’s offspring and he is a true standout in the greys, earning top awards at every show he is in!
