TRUE BLACK SNOWMASS NOVA GRANDDAUGHTER AND DAUGHTER OF SNOWMASS TRULY INVINCIBLE. Snowmass Velvet Promise is as her name a Promise of "alpaca" Velvet in Black. She is one of our favorite Truly Invincible and Snowmass Nova Promise black line females. Her Dam has produced the best and finest black fleeced alpaca. Snowmass Truly Invincible, her sire, has himself produced a great number of blacks. The other great treasure in the Promise line is Velvet Promises Grand Dam, 6520 Peruvian Black Lace. Sadly, our beautiful girl passed away yesterday at the age of 16 years. Offspring: In 2010, Velvet Promise had SNOWMASS VELVET LEGEND, a gorgeous bright Fawn male sired by Snowmass Sterling Legend, an ultra-fine "Royal Black" Snowmass Nova son. Sterling Legend was the Black Color Champion in the 2009 World Fleece Show and is the sire of our Janus' Blue Crystal (Grey Champion) and many other award winners! Velvet Legend won 3rd Place at the 2011 Gold Country Gathering. In 2011, Velvet Promise gave birth to SNOWMASS MATRIX MIDNIGHT VELVET, a beautiful TB female sired by Snowmass Matrix Midnight. This will be the first genetic combination of its kind which makes it very hard to let go of. We know this will be a magnificent cria and have a strong bet it will be as Black as Midnight himself. In 2013, Velvet Promise had ESTATES PLATINUM STEEL PROMISE, an attractive MSG female sired by NeverSummer's US Steel. In 2014, Velvet Promise gave birth to ESTATES VELVET VENECIAN, a lovely TB female, out of Chief Grey Feather. Grey Feather has passed along brightness, fineness and density to each cria that has hit the ground so far! In 2016, Velvet Promise had ESTATES SATIN VALOR, a handsome TB male sired by Snowmass Satin Reserve XX, our true black stud with superior royal black lineage. Satin Valor won 3rd Place at the 2018 Southern Select Show and several other ribbons during the 2018 show season. In 2018, Velvet Promise gave us ESTATES SATIN PROMISE, a beautiful BB female sired by multi-champion, Estates Satin Cloud (Satin Cloud was exported Sweden so this is your chance to get his rare genetics!). Snowmass Matrix Midnight Velvet is the wonderful result of the first genetic combination of its kind, and she is magnificent!

Midnight Velvet is a spunky true black female who has lovely fleece, sports ample density, and has a compact stature. As you might have guessed, her sire is Snowmass Matrix Midnight, a stunning bay black that won a First Place at AOA, and at The Futurity, First Place and the Color Championship. The Multi-Champion, Snowmass Matrix, is Velvet’s grandsire who claimed 4X prestigious Get of Sire Banners and his sire is the one and only Snowmass Quechua. On Velvet’s bottom side, there are great names such as Snowmass Midnight Magic, Little Miss Jennifer, and Snowmass Truly Invincible. Her dam, Snowmass Velvet Promise, is a striking true black dam that is a marvelous mother, and her cria are always robust and healthy.

On 6/15/2015, Midnight Velvet had a lovely female cria, sired by our fabulous true black herdsire, Snowmass Satin Reserve XX .

We selected a repeat breeding to the true black, Snowmass Satin Reserve XX for Midnight Velvet. Satin Reserve has a long line of black in his genetics and has amazing multi-Champion offspring so the pairing of these two outstanding blacks should produce a cria with jet black dense fleece, retained fineness, and of course, tip-top conformation.
