We call Ramita our "diamond in the rough" - A poster child for the importance of genetic background. Let's face it .... she just isn't a show girl. But she comes from three generations of careful, "NeverSummer" breeding matches. Ramita's sire, Tickity Boo Dino, has extremely nice handle to his fleece, and bold crimp too. He won several top awards during his show career in Canada. Dino comes from two gray parents, and has produced exceptional offspring. Offspring: In 2010, Ramita had her first cria is an absolutely stunning, TRUE BLACK, Aussie .38 Special daughter. "NEVERSUMMER'S LUCILLE" received the Blue Ribbon in a super competitive class of 8 at the 2011 International Alpaca Odyssey where the three judge panel placed her above last year's Futurity Color Champion! In his orals Dr.Julio Sumar (one of the three judges) commented on her fineness, uniformity, heavy dense locks and extreme luster. Lucille won two color championship banners at IAO in 2012. In 2011, Ramita delivered 38'S RENDEZVOUS NS, another beautiful Aussie .38 Special cria with a fabulous fleece! This time its a CMRG male with "Herdsire" written all over him. It was an "OMG!" moment when we cria sheared the handsome fellow. His fleece is so reminiscent of big sister Lucille - super lustrous, silky, dense, well-organized locks. In 2012, Ramita followed that up with a lovely MSG Aussie .38 Special daughter, NEVERSUMMER'S GLORY DAZE. Glory Daze was a multi ribbon winner on the 2014 show circuit. In 2014, Ramita had ESTATES REBEKAH, a lovely bay black female, sired by NeverSummer's US Steel. Steel is a handsome Aussie .38 Special son who inherited his sire's trademark silky handle.
