HVLA POPPY Offspring: On 5/14/2007, Poppy presented us with a gorgeous true black female sired by UA Inkspot. This impressive black herdsire is a son of the award winning Yankee Doodle Dandy (DF) and grandson of Cisco Kid (grey). At 7 years of age, Inkspot held the amazing fineness at 21.4 microns. On 9/8/2008, Poppy had a lovely true black female sired by our Patagonia’s Darwin. “Darwin” is out of one of the top producing silver grey males in the country! Patagonia’s “Danko” has sired many top national award winning progeny...too numerous to list. “Darwin” has a compact body, great structure, bone, coverage, density and a handsome correct headpiece! On 11/27/2009, Poppy gave us a beautiful light brown vicuna female sired by legendary grey herdsire, Bisturi. Bisturi is a stunning grey male with a gorgeous evenly colored fleece. On 9/30/2013, Poppy presented us with a wonderful true black female sired by our Snowmass Satin Reserve XX. Satin Reserve is an exquisite top of the line herdsire with Royal Black lineage from the Snowmass Black breeding Program! Not only is Satin Reserve a winner in his own right, but many of his progeny have taken Color Championships, Reserve Championships and blue ribbons. On 4/2/2017, Poppy gave us a lovely true black female sired by our Snowmass Rock Star XX. Rock Star is a stunning true black male with a dynamite, fine and silky feeling fleece. His sire, Snowmass Royal Bronze is one of Snowmass Alpacas finest studs holding a micron in the teens well into breeding age.
