PATAGONIA'S LENNOX: Patagonia’s Lennox is one of the Greats!..As assessed by senior judge, Amanda VandenBosch, Lennox born in 2002 was an “A” quality herdsire in 2014. He has lingering fineness, bright, dense fleece, with a long staple length, typey head and compact body. His shiny brown fleece shimmers in the sunlight even to this day. Lennox made a mark for not only himself, but for Alpacas de le Patagonia, siring a multitude of quality offspring including champions and many progenies that are currently top breeding herdsires and foundation producing dams. His show wins are numerous with Color Championships, Get of Sire, and Blues, and in addition, his offspring have received multitudes of banners and ribbons. Lennox has produced black, brown, fawn, white and grey offspring. WOW! We are delighted to add Irish Meadows’ Shadow to our herdsire lineup. He is everything we wanted to cross over our black lines, especially Sakima daughters. Quite frankly, we can cross him over every color! We have been looking for a black male that checks all the boxes especially in uniformity, staple length, and density on the fleece side. On the conformation side we needed a male that was without fault with great bone, coverage, and complimentary to our program. Genetically we wanted prepotent lines that we could depend on to produce top-tier quality offspring. Shadow had all that and more! His fleece style is reminiscent of Sakima with the tiny bundling, excellent uniformity, a dreamy soft handle, consistent crimp style, and an extended blanket area. Also, it is very bright, and excellent in comparing his primary to secondary fibers in micron, frequency, and color. We found all that in a 36-time banner winner with a first-rate pedigree. With elite champion lines he is also a sixth generation Champion. In 2023, he was awarded seventh place for top halter male in the show points calculation. Shadow is a son of three time Judge’s Choice winner, 26 time Champion, and multiple Champion and Judges Choice producer Irish Meadows’ Reputation. Reputation sired the 2023 high point female Irish Meadows’ Fancy Like. He is also sire to our eleven time champion, Irish Meadows’ Patriot. Reputation is an extraordinary son of the late Avalon’s Jacob Black, an amazing male, and an 18-time champion in his own right. Shadow is the product of crossing these lines with an Elite Max daughter. Talk about a match made in heaven! Unfortunately, his dam, Irish Meadows’ Emma passed in 2024. Her sire, The Elite Max, is an eight time Judges Choice winner and 27-time Champion. Shadow’s pedigree is chock-full of elite sires and dams. Kieryn is a daughter of the legendary Patagonia’s Lennox, a 9-time color champion with countless ribbons (including 3 Get of Sire Blue Ribbons!)! A world before his time in propelling dark colored programs into fine and crimpy fiber, Lennox has produced more champion progeny than any other Patagonia herdsire. (Not to mention, he’s the sire of our 8-time champion and Judge’s Choice winner, Patagonia's Ernesto!) Kieryn's paternal grandsire is Danko, a famous medium rose grey. Her dam's lineage includes MMR Laredo, Jolimont 2 Peruvian Alpamayo IMPB98, Victor's Vaccoyo, and Pperuvian Victor G4563.

In 2024, Kieryn had One trait ranking in the Top 10% EPDs plus Three in the Top 25%.

For her next pairing, we bred Kieryn to our new 36x Black Champion, Irish Meadows' Shadow. She is due in October 2025.

On 7/5/19, Kieryn gave us a lovely dark brown female sired by our outstanding multi-champion Snowmass Pure Pasion, who has 5 GET-of-SIRE Blue Ribbons!

On 9/11/20, Kieryn presented us with a wonderful true black male sired by our multi-champion, Patagonia Estates Sakima. ESTATES KAYENTA brought home Blue Ribbons at the 2024 Houston Shows in BOTH Halter & Walking Fleece; 2nd Place, 2025 AWE (*First won Color Champion); 2nd Place, 2025 CABA Classic; 2nd Place, 2022 TXOLAN Sweetheart Spectacular (First won Res. Champion); 2nd Place, 2021 A-OK Alpaca Blast-Off (*Ranch-mate won First); 2nd Place, 2021 Gold Country Gathering (First won Color Champion); and 2nd Place at the 2021 AWE. ESTATES KAYENTA is also an ACE Herdsire!

On 6/24/22, Kieryn gave us a beautiful true black female also sired by 6x Black Champion Patagonia Estates Sakima. ESTATES SAKIMA'S KARLENE is a Color Champion and Multiple Blues! She won Color Champion, 2023 AWE and Blue Ribbons from BOTH the 2023 TxOLAN Sweetheart Spectacular and 2023 TxOLAN Bluebonnet Stakes. Judge's Comments: "This female was the clear class winner when I put both the conformation & fleece together. She has a beautiful soft handling fleece. The fineness is there. She's got density & beautiful character across the fleece. Conformationally she is balanced. Beautiful type to her head. A nice little top line."
