Congratulations and thank you to Tierra Prometida Alpacas for their purchase of Estates Darlin Miss Arkansas at the 2026 ACE's Loaded Alpaca Auction!

Miss Arkansas is a true gem with a deep genetic background from some of our most trusted lines at Alpaca Country Estates. Not only is she a “darlin’” to look at, with a compact, correct frame, she also boasts a very fine fleece with exceptional organization and alignment throughout the staple—and it’s remarkably bright!

Darlin carries abundant color potential on her dam’s side, giving her the versatility to be bred for virtually any color. Her pedigree is a blend of the best Snowmass and Patagonia lines, providing a proven foundation for producing champions. Her standout phenotype and exceptional fleece quality make her a female any program would be proud to add.

We’re excited to see the impact she’ll make as a future producer. The choice of her maiden breeding is yours—an opportunity to shape the next generation of champions with Estates Darlin Miss Arkansas in your herd. Ideal pairings include: 2x Get of Sire Blue ribbon winning Legionnaire son, Amber Autumn Hot Chocolate, for elite density & fineness (Top 5% EPDs!), or Amber Autumn Ringmaster—sire of multiple champions including 5X Judge's Choice/12X Champ, Crown Scepter & 7X Champ Regal Prince. Both are outstanding matches to elevate Darlin’s next generation.

Miss Arkansas' pedigree is a blend of the best Snowmass and Patagonia lines...She is the daughter of Snowmass Pure Passion, a proven champion producer who has been recognized with numerous Get-of-Sire Blue Ribbons. Passion's fleece is extraordinarily fine, and gloriously bright, showing consistency of excellence from top to bottom as his pedigree would predict and his histograms reflect. With the fantastic pedigree, fleece, and phenotypical attributes it’s not surprising that Pure Passion is a cornerstone of our breeding program. His prepotent genetics continue to create champion after champion. Her paternal grandsire is Snowmass Matrix who passes on his genetics for high curvature and ultimate fineness. Her dam is Estates Antonio's Brown Eyed Darlin, a gorgeous brown female with FIVE traits ranking in the Top 25% EPDs. Miss Arkansas' maternal grandsire is our top Lennox son, Patagonia's Antonio, an amazing 10x Champion, including 2016 AOA Nationals Invited Champion and 2015 AOA Nationals color champion. Antonio exhibits a bright, fine, uniform fleece with a high frequency crimp, strong bone with excellent conformation & a sensational temperament. Miss Arkansas' great grandsire is none other than the pivotal male Patagonia's Lennox -- a world before his time in propelling dark colored programs into fine and crimpy fiber.

Miss Arkansas is currently a 2x Color Champion! Please continue to watch for her on our show string and in Lot 27 of the 2026 ACE's Loaded Alpaca Auction held February 13, 2026, in conjunction with the 2026 TXOLAN Show weekend!

Color Champion, 2025 Diamond Classic Alpaca Show: Halter, Huacaya Brown Female Championship (Class of 9) (Judge: Jacob Hart)
Color Champion, 2025 American Alpaca Showcase: Halter, Huacaya Brown Female Championship (Class of 9) (Judge: Arturo Peña)
1st Place, 2026 TXOLAN Bluebonnet Stakes: Halter, Huacaya Dark Brown Yearling Female (Class of 4) (Judge: Kevin O’Leary) Judge’s comments: “This was a very, very competitive class, and a lot of depth through this whole class. The four of these alpacas, even with the humidity and everything else, really rose to the top. I pulled 103 up as my first place. I really appreciated that structure, the overall frame. Really well-balanced, little compact, good depth of chest, good substance of bone, spring of ribs. When you open the fleece, it’s extremely long regrowth on her, and a lot of brightness to this fleece. It’s a very, very well-nourished fleece. Kind of as bright as it has (inaudible). It was just that well-nourished fleece, really, really healthy, expressing a very high density within the staple.”

4th Place, 2026 TXOLAN Alpaca Spectacular: Halter, Huacaya Dark Brown Yearling Female (Class of 4) (Judge: Jacob Hart) *First Place won Reserve Champion. Judge’s comments: “Fourth place was the oldest in the class. Once again, a compact framed female, but she’s got the width to the chest, and she has strong substance of bone to the frame with a strong top line. So, conformationally even though more compact, it is still relatively strong. It’s a long stapling fleece that she’s carrying. As I view the sample on my sleeve, she’s relatively uniform between the finer and stronger fibers. I just want to see even more of it.”
