Kalypso Serenity inherited some incredible genetics and her pedigree reads like a Who's Who of influential herdsires! Her sire, Gibraltar of FJA, descends from generations of elite Snowmass genetics and passes on his density, excellent fineness, and fleece character to his cria! Gibraltar received the coveted Judge's Choice trophy at the 2018 Buckeye Fall Fest. He has also been recognized with 3X Color Championships during his stellar show career. Her paternal grandsire is 5X champion Snowmass Best in Velvet (whose offspring have earned judge's choice awards and amassed numerous color championships.)

Her dam, Amber Autumn Kendra, adds versatility and color potential, giving Kalypso Serenity the ability to be bred for a multitude of colors. Show her now and bring her back for her maiden breeding. Kendra is the daughter of Herdsire of the Year and 12x champion, Snowmass MR Sizlin Rose, well known for his contributions to top black genetics in North America. Reserve Champion, 2026 National Western Stock Show: Halter, Huacaya Brown Female Championship (Class of 8) (Judge: Jacob Hart) (Judge's Comments: "Congratulations to the 2026 NWSS champion and reserve champion for the brown female color group. Both of these females came from the very deep and very competitive yearling age group class. Stepping up from the second-place position and into reserve champion, this female is certainly extremely well-built. She has that eye catching factor to her. Really, this is what a brown Huacaya female should look like. As I view her fleece, it’s not only dense, but also extremely bright as well. Very happy to award her this reserve champion. Congratulations.")
Reserve Champion, 2025 Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo: Halter, Huacaya Dark Female Championship (Class of 10) (Judge: Jacob Hart)
1st Place, 2025 Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo: Halter, Huacaya Brown Juvenile Female (Class of 4) (Judge: Jacob Hart)
2nd Place, 2026 TXOLAN Alpaca Spectacular: Halter, Huacaya Brown Yearling Female (Class of 8) (Judge: Jacob Hart) *First Place won Color Champion. Judge’s comments: “A really competitive class between conformation and fleece attributes. It was really the degree of density that places first over second. Second place, while this female is another one of those certainly very striking, the substance of bone, the leg coverage, overall head style.  She is very true to type for the Huacaya female. She was carrying a more uniform colored fleece and stronger conformation compared to that of third place."
2nd Place, 2026 National Western Stock Show: Halter, Huacaya Brown Yearling Female (Class of 6) (Judge: Jacob Hart) * First Place won Color Champion (Judge's Comments: "It really was a competitive class here, balancing both conformation and fleece attributes. This female really does have that look to her. She is one that I refer to as just eye catching. She’s got the width to the chest. The substance of bone from the ground up, and the straight, strong top line. As I view her fleece, while she is maintaining organization to it, with a tight crimp structure expressed from skin to tip, ultimately our first-place female just had the advantage for even more of those subgroups within that staple type. So it is that level of organization that separates first and second.  However, it is the overall package that places second over third.")
3rd Place, 2025 Gold Country Gathering: Halter, Huacaya Brown Yearling Female (Class of 9) (Judge: Amanda VandenBosch)
