ESTATES BERTIE LOU II SPECIAL
Estates Bertie Lou II Special truly lives up to her name! She combines a true-to-type, compact frame with a stylish head and long-stapled fleece that is exceptionally soft to the touch and bright.
Her pedigree is loaded with true black excellence—Estates Satin Sebastian on her topside and Estates Magnificent Obsession her maternal side—giving her the potential to produce outstanding offspring in both show and breeding programs.
Her sire, Estate's Satin Sebastian, is a Color Champion winner himself and comes from a long line of multi-champions! He is the son of 4x Champion, Estate's Satin Cloud's Sebastian, a non-fading true black male with excellent conformation, a sturdy frame, beautiful head style, correct bite, and lots of fine, dense fleece with lots of crimp. Sebastian’s paternal grandsire, Estates Satin Cloud, is a top line breeding male who won 8 Championship banners before being exported to Sweden. Satin Sebastian's dam is our exceptional 5x Champion Nishio daughter, Patagonia's Simone (who also gave us 26x Champion, Estates Stradivarius).
Her maternal grandsire is 3x Black Champion Patagonia’s Baccus. Judge Amanda VandenBosch assessed Baccus for his marvelous stature, phenotype, with above average in all aspects of fiber including fineness & handle, uniformity of micron & staple length, density, and coverage of fiber. Her maternal lineage also includes Patagonia's Ernesto, Patagonia's Lennox, Danko 532, El Mito 574, Venus 417, R&RR Irishea 017N, Cava Guivir Zorro 09H8, Cava Isalia Valentino 507, Nishio, and El Padre!
For her maiden breeding, we highly recommend pairing her with one of our impressive lineup of black herdsires, including Judge's Choice & 12x Champion Estates Ameretto’s Royal Knight, 6x Champion & internationally recognized Patagonia Estates Sakima, or 36x Champion Irish Meadows Shadow. The options are numerous, and any choice is expected to complement her elite fleece, phenotype, and genetics.
Bertie Lou II Special is a female destined to make an impact in your herd, both now and for years to come.
