ESTATES EARLGREYS SILVER SANDDOLLAR
Silver Sanddollar is a stylish and feminine young female with a promising show career ahead. A daughter of our own AspenAlpacas Earl Grey, with Snowmass Silver Signature on her dam side, she carries deep excellence in grey genetics throughout her pedigree.

Silver Sanddollar is well-grown for her age, with a soft-handling fleece exhibiting remarkable brightness, fineness, and uniformity, all laid over a well-balanced, true-to-type frame. Her elegant phenotype and quality fleece make her a desirable addition to any show string or breeding program.

She is the daughter of our champion producer, AspenAlpacas Earl Grey. Earl Grey is sired by DSG multi-champion, Applewoods Phantom. His multi-champion fawn dam is Silver Rose Elegance (who has Cochiti and Legacy as close genetics). Not only are his dam and sire champions, all of his grandparents are champions as well! His paternal grandsire is Jerimiah’s Qualtrain and five-time champion grey. This makes for an impressive pedigree that boasts of Majestic Peruvian Jerimiah, MFI Peruvian Jericho, HA Shades of Grey, Peruvian Presidio, PPPeruvian Augusto, 4Peruvian Legacy, Augusto, Cochiti, Caligula, and Victor! Unfortunately, the covid pandemic limited Earl Grey’s show career.

Her maternal grandsire is Snowmass Silver Signature the "elite grey” from Snowmass Alpacas, used as the standard of excellence in their silver-grey breeding program. Signature is a beautiful, compact, typey male whose outstanding genetics include Snowmass Royal Flush, Snowmass Andean Bronze, 4Peruvian Andean Gold 6019, Snowmass Peruvian Casanova, and Peruvian Bueno.

6X CHAMPION!
We are proud to announce that judge Jacob Hart just awarded EarlGrey's Silver Sanddollar a Blue Ribbon and Color Championship at the 2026 TXOLAN Spectacular show! Judge Arturo Peña named her Color Champion at the 2025 American Alpaca Showcase as well! In addition, Sanddollar brought home Reserve Championship banners and Blue Ribbons from the 2025 A-OK Alpaca Blast Off, 2025 Gold Country Gathering and 2025 California Classic Alpaca Shows, as well as another Reserve Champion banner and 2nd Place ribbon at the 2025 Diamond Classic Alpaca Show.

Once Silver Sanddollar's showing career is complete, bring her back for her maiden breeding. We highly recommend pairing her with our Judge’s Choice and 38x Champion grey male, Estates Giovanni’s Titanium Royale—a match expected to produce offspring with exceptional fleece, style, and show potential.

Estates Earlgreys Silver Sanddollar is being showcased in Lot 40 of the 2026 ACE's Loaded Alpaca Auction - held February 13, 2026, in conjunction with the 2026 TXOLAN Show weekend!

Color Champion, 2026 TXOLAN Spectacular: Halter, Huacaya Gray/Roan Female Championship (19)(Jacob Hart) Judge’s comments: “I really do want to recognize the frame here. The conformational attributes with that chest, maintaining towards the rump. Solid substance of bone to her. Really, it’s the size here and the capacity that earned her the championship today. She’s maintaining a long stapling fleece. Very soft. Very fine overall.”
Color Champion & 1st Place, 2025 American Alpaca Showcase: Halter (Arturo Peña)
Reserve Champion & 1st Place, 2025 A-OK Blast Off: Halter (Laurel Shouvlin)

Reserve Champion & 2nd Place, 2025 Diamond Classic: Halter (Jacob Hart) *First Place won Color Champion
1st Place, 2026 TXOLAN Spectacular: Halter, Huacaya Gray Yearling Female (8)(Jacob Hart) Judge’s comments: “This certainly was a very competitive class. I really do want to recognize the conformation & fleece attributes. Starting as the most complete, is first place. She really has a very beautiful phenotype to her. As far as grey Huacaya females go, this is really what you want to see. She has width to the chest, throughout towards the pelvis. Straight top line. Strong angulation within the front & rear leg sets along even and balanced proportions. As I view her fleece, she’s not only maintaining a very fine fleece, but a long stapling fleece. Her tight crimp structure is very consistent from skin to tip. As I view the brightness, I really do want to recognize the overall consistency here."
1st Place, 2026 NWSS: Halter, Huacaya Grey Yearling Female (Jacob Hart) (Judge's Comments: "Starting with her conformation, she’s looking extremely overall, quite well put together. A straight top line, strong substance of bone, and an even balance & proportions to her. She’s exhibiting a great spring of rib, & capacity throughout her entire frame which is extremely important within these females approaching maturity & approaching breeding age. As I view her fleece, she just continues to add on even more positive points. She’s maintaining a long fleece structure. Very tight crimp structure expressed across the entire length of that long staple, and she’s showing very minimal variation between the shoulder and the mid side, and the rump. As I take a look at the sample on my sleeve, between the white and the dark and brown and black fibers, very minimal variation between those finer and stronger fibers.")
2nd Place, 2026 TXOLAN Bluebonnet Stakes: Halter, Huacaya Gray Yearling Female (6)(Kevin O’Leary) Judge’s comments: “This was a very interesting class to judge. Part of it was some of the finest animals were so sweaty that they weren’t expressing their architecture of their fleece correctly. There was not a big variation on fineness between this whole group. They were all relatively fine. I think that 2nd Place got a little bit of hurt from this humidity here today, because she’s got the density. You look at that head style. It’s telling you that you’re going to find a really dense fleece. Just was not holding that architecture to the staples to her fullest ability today. A real beautiful little girl. The uniformity between the light & the dark fibers was really spot on.”
2nd Place, 2025 A-OK Rose Rock Show: WF, Huacaya Rose Grey Yearling WF (3)(Jacob Hart)
2nd Place, 2025 Alpacapalooza: Halter, Huacaya Grey Yearling Female (5)(Jacob Hart)
2nd Place, 2025 Alpacapalooza: WF, Huacaya Grey Yearling (6)(Diana Timmerman)
2nd Place, 2025 Northwest Alpaca Showcase: Halter, Huacaya Grey Yearling Female (5)(Diana Timmerman)
