Passing Down Her Championship Bloodlines! Black Widow had top 5% EPD's in 2021 and TWO traits with Top 5% EPD's in 2023. She is a beautiful true black female and comes from multi-champion bloodlines known for their fineness! She is the daughter of 6x Champion, Irish Meadows Peruvian Carbon Copy (including Reserve Color Champion at the 2015 AOA National Show). In 2014, Irish Meadows Peruvian Carbon Copy's 2014 micron was 15 as a true black male! Black Widow's paternal grandsire is legendary 19X black champion, Avalon's Jacob Black - the 2015 & 2016 Futurity Dark Reserve Champion. Her dam, Hobby Horse Evening Shadow, won 2nd place ribbons in Halter & Walking Fleece at the 2017 AOA National Show. She also received a 2nd place ribbon (her ranch mate won first) at the 2017 CABA show. Black Widow's maternal grandsire is Color Champion and Get of Sire Winner, HobbyHorse Rico's Arctic Rendezvous who produces champions in colors from black to white! His EPDs are in the Top 1 to 5%, his density is excellent, sound conformation, excellent temperament. On 6/30/21, Black widow gave birth to a good-looking light rose grey male sired by Crescent Moon's Kolbe. Her son, Odins' ATM, won Best of Bred and Owed at the 2022 Northwest Alpaca Showcase, and is currently a 4x Champion (including Color Championship banners from the 2024 TXOLAN Sweetheart Spectacular, 2023 California Classic & 2022 Alpacapalooza and Reserve Championships at the 2023 CABA Classic and the 2023 TXOLAN Bluebonnet Stakes: Walking Fleece shows) On 9/6/23, Black widow presented us with a spectacular dark brown male also sired by multi-champion, Crescent Moon's Kolbe.
