We were hesitant to list Blue Treasure, but he will make a massive impact to a lucky farm’s breeding program. Blue Treasure is a rare silver-grey offspring from our multi-champion Amber Autumn’s Troy.
Blue Treasure’s pedigree is fantastic and full of champions, who produce champions! Let us start with his paternal line. Troy is the product of a pairing between the legendary Snowmass MR Sizlin Rose & Zephyrus daughter, Amber Autumn Tehya. Troy’s prestigious awards include 2019 AOA Nationals Color Champion & 2019 Futurity Reserve Champion! In all but one show, Troy won a banner! Troy is the sire of Amber Autumn Royal Ruby, a 2x grey Judge’s Choice Winner and our herdsire, Amber Autumn Ringmaster. Troy's sire, Snowmass MR Sizlin Rose’s offspring have been awarded nearly as many banners as the number of his offspring (180+.) Troy is a paternal sibling to other top males (Red Granites Val D LSere, Crescent Moon’s Sizzlin Shak, Liberty’s Manifest-Destiny & Red Granites Innsbruck). His dam, JanusAspen Moody Blues, is phenomenal dam coming from Applewood’s Phantom and 3D’s Midnight Katia. Applewoods Phantom is a multiple champion grey male with outstanding coverage and fineness. He is also the sire of our herdsire AspenAlpacas Earl Grey. Her dam, 3D's Midnight Katia is a black champion female with 100% Snowmass genetics that produces foundation females.
With these outstanding genetics, Treasure has a gorgeous fleece and phenotype. He has great coverage, a wedge-shaped head, thick bone, and a proud stance. His topline is strait and sits on a square frame with correct proportions. Treasure has a correct bite. His fleece is stunning. He has excellent fineness and uniformity, even across the black and white fibers. His fleece has a high frequency zipper crimp, with great staple length. The staples are in tight small bundles. It is beautiful. These fleece traits earned him a second At AOA National 2024 walking fleece under his teammate, Estate’s Giovanni’s Titanium Royale (1st and Champion.)
