Estates Lena Grace may appear to be a spotted fawn, but make no mistake—she’s a classic grey in disguise, and her first cria proves it! Her debut offspring, a medium rose grey female by Estates Silver Boreas, confirmed the strength of the grey genetics running through her pedigree.
Lena Grace’s lineage is stacked with proven grey producers! She is the daughter of Judge's Choice (an extremely rare award for a grey) and 9x Champion, KVR Peruvian True Eye Candy ~ "Ike,” who has been judged to be superior in quality, by senior judges, in both 'full fleece halter' classes, and in fleece shows. In terms of Production, Ike has already produced National Champions in both Black and Grey. His sire, MFI Peruvian Candyman has produced many champion offspring as well. Other famous sires in his pedigree include PC Running Late, 6Peruvian Accoyo Titan, Accoyo PPPeruvian El Moustachio, Peruvian Don Julio, Peruvian Dakotia (sire of MFI Peruvian Jericho), Peruvian Bueno, and 4Peruvian Matador.
Her dam, Estates Leonie, was ranked as one of our top 250 alpacas and had Top 5% EPDs in 2024. We love what she is producing! Lena Grace's maternal grandsire is Estates Gray Beard, a beautiful-fleeced medium silver-grey champion with the sought-after Aussie .38 Special genetics. Gray Beard now resides in Canada, where he continues to put Blue-Ribbon winning progeny on the ground. Her maternal great grandsire, Aussie .38 Special is a one-of-a-kind male, with 17 championships, 2 judges choice awards, Futurity Champion, and 2012 dark herdsire of the year! His impressive fleece has been passed on time and time again to his offspring.
Estates Lena Grace brought home Blue-Ribbons from both the 2023 VAOBA Alpaca Expo and 2023 A-OK Rose Rock Alpaca Shows! She also won a 2nd Place ribbon at her first show; the 2023 Buckeye Alpaca Fall Fest. (**Our Picasso’s Leah Rose won Best Bred & Owned).
