AMBER AUTUMN AVANTI
Black breeders take notice, Avanti is the first offering of a female bred to our newest herdsire, Alpaca Palace Zagato’s Jay-Z! Avanti is a fantastic addition for anyone breeding for black or grey. Avanti is a compact female with a beautiful phenotype, correct bite, and square frame. Her fleece opens up to a beautifully bright, jet-black color. It is a wonderfully soft, buttery cloud. She has a very fine fleece with few noticeable primary fibers. Across her fleece she carries a consistent high frequency crimp style, good staple length, good uniformity of micron and organization.
Her sire, Amber Autumn Ameretto, has sired many blue-ribbon Futurity and National show winners. Ameretto has produced 80% black offspring. He stamps his outstanding coverage, correct frame, thick bone, consistent crimp style, and fine fleece on his offspring. Avanti is no exception. We are retaining many of his daughters in our foundation herd. This line is our go-to for improving phenotype in black, he is that consistent! Avanti’s dam, FRA Peruvian Avanti's Alyssa, consistently produces show worthy cria. She has top 10% EPDs. Avanti’s pedigree contains top lines and champions such as XXXtreme LegacyXXX, Snowmass Amberlight, Peruvian Bueno, Snowmass Conopa XXX, Snowmass Infinity, Snowmass XXXtreme, Peruvian Snowmaster, Snowmass Accoyocusani, Snowmass Royal Rose, Snowmass Legacy Gold, Snowmass Chiribaya, Peruvian Bueno, Zorro, Royal Peruvian Avanti, and TCB's Miakoda. Avanti’s paternal siblings include Amber Autumn Thunder Struck - 2x Futurity Blue Ribbon (2021 & 2022) and Amber Autumn Captain Noir -Color Champion & Multiples Blues. This combination of genetics made it easy for us to pair her with Jay-Z.
We couldn’t be happier with our newest herdsire, Alpaca Palace Zagato’s Jay-Z. He is stunning! As a herdsire he passes on his extreme density and fineness along with perfect conformation, excellent coverage, and exquisite head. His pedigree is top-notch as well. He is a Zagato son by a CCNF Man in Black daughter. Jay-Z is a 12x champion and a Buckeye Best Head Award recipient, creating outstanding offspring in an array of colors including grey. Our Jay-Z son, Velocity won the Black AOA National Walking Fleece Championship in 2024. Jay-Z is now closed to outside breedings. This is a pairing to create the next step-up in black Huacayas.
