Ear Tag 72Y is the daughter of multi-champion Estates Matterhorn, whose fleece has magnificent fine, silky crimp, yet has enormous density. Her paternal grandsire is our Andean's Pegasus of Country Estates, a 3x Color Championship winner at IAO (sire of 7x Champion, Legendary Picasso!). Her paternal great-grandsire is Snowmass Andean Midnight, our beautiful, compact, "silky soft" male with an outstanding pedigree for fineness. 72Y's paternal granddam, Patagonia's Marinella was the Brown Color Champion at Alpacapalooza in 2013, and was assessed by Judge Amanda VandenBosch as an A- with strong points in all areas of conformation; as well as areas of fiber including fineness and handle, uniformity of micron, density, brightness, lack of medullation and coverage.

Her maternal grandsire, Nishio has an exquisite black fleece, which is extremely dense and full of high frequency crimp. , Nishio's accomplishments include winning the 2004 All-American Herdsire of the Year and the 2007 Reserve All-American Herdsire of the Year.
