ALPENGLOW'S TYRIAN
Tyrian is a gorgeous classic rose gray female. Her well-known sire, KVR Peruvian True Eye Candy “Ike”, has NINE grey color championships! Ike has been judged to be superior in quality, by senior judges, in both 'full fleece halter' classes, and in fleece shows. His awards include a Judge's Choice in fleece (think 'best fleece of all colors') - an extremely rare award for a grey. In terms of Production, Ike has already produced National Champions in both Black and Grey. Other famous sires in his pedigree include MFI Peruvian Candyman (sire), PC Running Late, 6Peruvian Accoyo Titan, Accoyo PPPeruvian El Moustachio, Peruvian Don Julio, Peruvian Dakotia (sire of MFI Peruvian Jericho), Peruvian Bueno, and 4Peruvian Matador.
Her dam has consistently thrown beautiful fine fleeced cria and been an excellent mom. Tyrian herself has a beautiful, fine fleece and has a good start to her showing career. Judge Wade Gease awarded Tyrian a 2nd Place ribbon at the 2019 Midwest Alpaca Fleece Show (*1st place alpaca was grey color champion and won judge's choice). She also won a 2nd Place ribbon at the 2019 AOA National Show (in Fleece), as well as bringing home a 2nd place ribbon from the 2019 GWAS halter show.
Tyrian had FOUR traits ranking in the Top 25% EPDs in 2023.
Offspring:
On 8/9/21, Tyrian presented us with a handsome LSG male sired by Gray Alpaca Co's Gray Enough. Her son, Estates Silver Valentine won 1st Place and Color Champion at the 2023 Houston Livestock Alpaca Show.
On 7/23/23, Tyrian gave us a beautiful MSG female sired by Estates Silver Boreas.
On 10/3/25, Tyrian gave birth to a good-looking medium brown male sired by our champion, Crescent Moon's Casimir.
