Carlota is the daughter of Patagonia's El Vasco, a True Black Champion male, known for his lasting fineness. El Vasco has a beautiful fleece that is fine and full of tight crimp. A skin biopsy by Dr. Evans ranked Vasco in the top 1% in density (70 follicles SQMM. SP ratio: 13 to 1). At age 10 he was maintaining a 23.6 AFD. Carlota's paternal grandsire is the exotic Patagonia's Neruda, who sold for over $200,000 at the 2007 Futurity Auction.

On 7/3/2014, Carlota gave us PATAGONIA ESTATES CAMILLE, a lovely bay black female cria out of Patagonia’s Chief, a true black top-sire on our ranch.
On 6/6/2015. Carlota presented us with PATAGONIA ESTATES LAILA, a beautiful dark fawn female sired by our exceptional 10x champion brown herdsire, Patagonia's Antonio.
