His grandsire is none other than Andean Bronze, the sire of Royal Bronze - from Snowmass' vicuna type alpaca retaining fineness under 20 microns after reaching maturity. Andean Midnight is also sire of 26x champion, Estates Stradivarius! Sentimental Journey's maternal grandsire (out of dam, Cecelia) is the well-known CPeruvian Axtion Jaxon, a non-Fading True Black who won GET OF SIRE at the 2005 Mid America Show competing against two strong whites (a rare winning for a black). Axtion Jaxon passes on color, fineness and tight crimp, and his micron in 2000 was only 18.4! Her maternal granddam Clarisa is a full Peruvian female sired by CPeruvian Black Hawk and has Timoteo and Drambuie in her ancestry. She has medium frequency crimp and an excellent density fleece. Shondra hails from top Patagonia and Snowmass genetics. She is the daughter of Patagonia’s Chilkoot, our Bay Black compact herdsire with a long staple length, and bright fine fleece. Chilkoot’s crias started hitting the ground in 2015 and several have been instrumental on our show string (including Shondra's full brother - Patagonia Estates Sakima, a 6x Black Champion & Champion Producer himself). Shondra's is the granddaughter of legendary 9X champion, Patagonia's Lennox -- a pivotal male for propelling dark colored programs into fine and crimpy fiber.

Her dam, Estates Sentimental Journey, is a dynamite solid black foundation dam out of the Snowmass line and Peruvian line.
