Gray breeders have commented that Truffles is a beautiful female with a beautiful fleece. Her fleece exhibits excellent character tail to ears-fineness, crimpy primaries, color, density, brightness, long staple, a soft handle & an absence visible guard hair. Yocum-McColl said that her fleece is a rare, true (pigmented) gray and very nice, long, fine and silky. Truffles' pedigree is consistent for maintaining phenotype, quality fleece & fineness beyond five years. She is a wonderful producing dam for us & has outstanding offspring no matter who we breed her to. She has had Top 10% EPDs in 2021-2024! Her sire, Snowmass RRoyal Fox (2010 AOBA Gray Composite Champion), is from Snowmass' Royal Bronze and Casanova bloodlines. He's a full Peruvian with '98 imported true black and maroon granddams, so he's unrelated to all other gray bloodlines! Her paternal sister, Reyna (MSG @ 15.6 m), placed 1st at Alpacapalooza '12. They are Fox's two best gray daughters so far. Paternal Brother, Graphite - 1st Futurity 2012! Her 3/4 maternal sister is Carmelina, a Res. Champ. Her maternal brother is Constantino, is a Champion who won blue & purples for 5 years. Truffles' dam was a multiple champion & blue ribbon producer. Her third fleece earned a blue ribbon winner over a Futurity champion male in 2000 (judge, Julie Skinner). She was the best daughter of P. Andrajo (Alianza sire of Mr. Roosevelt who sired Crescent Moon's Donato). Offspring: On 11/7/13, Truffles gave us ESTATES SILVER TITAN, a stunning MSG male with gorgeous, buttery fleece sired by NeverSummer's US Steel. Silver Titan won Color Champion at the 2015 California Classic. He also brought home blue ribbons at the 2015 California Classic, 2014 Northwest Alpaca Showcase & 2014 AlpacaMania halter shows & 2015 West Coast Show for Walking Fleece. On 10/19/14, Truffles presented us with ESTATES TITANIUM, a spectacular LSG male sired by NS Magic Flight. Titanium won Color Champion at the 2016 California Classic & Reserve Champion at the 2017 Buckeye Show. Titanium also brought home blue ribbons from the 2017 Buckeye, 2017 CABO, 2016 California Classic & 2016 AOA National Shows! On 4/20/16, Truffles gave us ESTATES THANE, a handsome LSG male sired by Chief Grey Feather. Thane won Blue ribbons at the 2016 ABI & 2019 Quebec Show in halter & WF. He won 1st & Res Champion at the 2018 Rockton Fair Show and 1st & Res Champ at the 2019 Annual Alpaca Ontario Spring Show. (*Color Champ at both shows was our Estates Silver Magic). On 2/7/18, Truffles presented us with ESTATES SUPER SONIC TIFFANY, a dynamite DSG female out of Judges' Choice & 15x Champion, A Paca Fun's Super Sonic. On 8/25/20, Truffles gave us ESTATES PURE PASSION'S TANZANITE, a beautiful MB female out of our amazing champion producer, Snowmass Pure Passion. On 9/18/23, Truffles delivered ESTATES SILVER TRUFFLES, a lovely LSG female sired by our Crescent Moon's Casimir.
