Estates Jay-Z's Lotus of the Nile is a captivating young roan female whose distinctive coloring, bright fleece and beautiful phenotype reflect an impressive union of black championship bloodlines. Sired by 12x Black Champion Alpaca Palace Zagato's Jay-Z and out of Estates Lalette, a proven bay black female, Lotus brings together the celebrated Zagato, Snowmass and Patagonia families in a promising young female.
Lotus displays bright, attractive fleece with pleasing density and uniform crimp, creating a beautiful presentation against her distinctive roan coloring. Her lovely head complements a well-balanced frame, broad chest and correct bite. These appealing fleece and conformational qualities provide a strong foundation as she continues to mature, while her pedigree offers remarkable depth on both sides.
Her sire, Alpaca Palace Zagato's Jay-Z, is a 12x Black Champion whose championship victories include the Buckeye Alpaca Show, Empire Alpaca Extravaganza and NEAOBA Alpaca Fall Spectacular. He also earned Best Head honors at the 2020 Buckeye Alpaca Show and achieved Top 10% EPD rankings in 2022 and 2023. Jay-Z is by 19x Champion Sunset Hills Zagato, the 2019 Futurity Dark Huacaya Herdsire of the Year, and out of champion CNTRL Man in Black's Beyonce.
Jay-Z's influence extends beyond his own exceptional show career. His son 426 HEMI Jay-Z's Hellcat is a 6x Champion, earning Color Championships at the 2025 Great Midwest Alpaca Festival, Wisconsin Alpaca and Fiber Fest and North American Alpaca Show. Another son, 426 HEMI Velocity By Jay-Z, won a Color Championship at the 2024 AOA National Show, while 426 HEMI Dark Mocha By Jay-Z earned Reserve Champion at the 2025 Michigan International Alpaca Fest. These successful offspring demonstrate the consistent championship potential of Lotus's paternal family.
Lotus's dam, Estates Lalette, contributes equally compelling black genetics. Lalette is a daughter of Andean's Pegasus of Country Estates, whose Color Championships at the International Alpaca Odyssey in 2012, 2013 and 2014 established an impressive record. Pegasus is by Snowmass Andean Midnight, a herdsire admired for his silky-soft fleece and influential black pedigree.
Through Lalette's maternal family, Lotus also traces to Patagonia's Lindeza, a daughter of 7x Champion Patagonia's Ernesto and granddaughter of renowned champion producer Patagonia's Lennox. This lineage adds another generation of accomplished show and breeding genetics to an already distinguished pedigree.
With her luminous roan fleece, uniform crimp, lovely head and correct conformation, Estates Jay-Z's Lotus of the Nile unites individual appeal with the proven championship-producing strength of Jay-Z, Zagato, Snowmass and Patagonia. Her combination of distinctive color and deep black genetics makes her an exciting young female to watch as she develops.
