ESTATES MISS SAINT CROIX

Estates Sakima's Karlene is an exceptional TB female whose championship show record, objective genetic merit & proven production make her an outstanding opportunity for strengthening a serious black breeding program. As a Color Champion, multiple blue ribbon winner, Top 15% EPD female & daughter of the legendary Patagonia Estates Sakima, Karlene offers the complete package discerning breeders seek in a foundation female. From pedigree to production, Karlene reflects generations of carefully selected genetics known for elite fleece quality, structural correctness & true Huacaya phenotype. Her pedigree combines the influential bloodlines of Patagonia Estates Sakima, Patagonia's Lennox, Snowmass Andean Midnight, Snowmass Fineness Matters, MMR Laredo & Victor's Vaccoyo. With Sakima now closed to outside breedings, opportunities to acquire daughters carrying these sought-after genetics are increasingly limited. Karlene quickly distinguished herself in the show ring, earning Color Champion & First Place at the 2023 AWE, along with First Place ribbons at the TxOLAN Bluebonnet Stakes & TxOLAN Sweetheart Spectacular. She also earned top placings at the CABA Classic & The Futurity, consistently competing among the country's strongest black female classes. Helen Testa selected Karlene as the clear class winner at the 2023 TxOLAN Bluebonnet Stakes, commenting: "This female was the clear class winner when I put both the conformation and fleece together. She has a beautiful soft handling fleece. The fineness is there. She's got density and beautiful character across the fleece. Conformationally she is balanced. Beautiful type to her head. A nice little top line." Wade Gease reinforced those same qualities at the 2023 CABA Classic, remarking: "...clearly all the way at the top of this class. Softness in touch still peaks in this group." Those comments perfectly capture the qualities that have defined Karlene throughout her show career & now define her value as a foundation female. Karlene's objective genetic evaluations further reinforce those assessments. In her 2024 EPDs, she ranked in the Top 15% for %F>30 & the Top 20% for AFD, SF & MC, providing objective support for the fleece qualities consistently recognized throughout her show career. Karlene has also proven herself in production. For breeders seeking more than ribbons alone, Sakima's Karlene offers a rare combination of championship phenotype, objective genetic merit, proven maternal performance & distinguished black genetics. Her championship show record, elite EPDs, proven production & distinguished pedigree provide multiple independent measures of quality, making her an exceptional foundation female for the next generation.
