Estates Sweet Golden Sorrento is a beautiful medium fawn female and direct daughter of legendary Snowmass Mr Sizlin Rose, a 12x Champion and 2016 Futurity Herdsire of the Year. Combining distinguished Snowmass genetics on both sides of her pedigree with beautiful fleece characteristics and excellent conformation, Sorrento represents an exciting continuation of two accomplished breeding lines.
Sorrento possesses gorgeous, fine, dense fleece with beautiful, well-defined crimp, a wonderfully soft handle & consistent coloring throughout. She also displays a broad chest, correct bite & pleasing overall conformation. Her attractive medium fawn fleece combines fineness, density & organization, qualities that complement the championship-producing genetics behind her.
Her sire, Snowmass Mr Sizlin Rose, is among the industry's most influential champion-producing herdsires. In addition to earning 12 championships, including Color Championships at the 2012 AOBA National Show & Futurity, he was named the 2016 Futurity Herdsire of the Year for dark-colored offspring and 2017 Reserve Herdsire of the Year. His remarkable offspring include Red Granites Val D Lsere, winner of three consecutive AOA National Dark Male Supreme Championships, and Liberty's Manifest-Destiny, the 2020 AOA National Dark Male Supreme Champion. As of October 2026, his 253 offspring had collectively earned more than 200 championships!
Sorrento's dam, Estates Majestic Sorrento, is a proven dark fawn female whose 2024 EPDs included one trait in the Top 15% and four traits in the Top 25%. She is a daughter of 6x Champion Snowmass Majesty in Moonlight, winner of the 2014 International Alpaca Odyssey Spinners Dream Championship, and granddaughter of Snowmass Matrix Majesty, the 2011 Futurity Reserve Dark Herdsire of the Year. This maternal line contributes another distinguished generation of Snowmass breeding genetics.
For her maiden breeding, Sorrento was bred to Snowmass Pure Passion in October 2026, with her first cria anticipated in September 2027. A son of Snowmass Matrix, Pure Passion has earned nine Get of Sire blue ribbons and produced numerous champions, including 14x Champion, 3x Judge's Choice Estates Passionate Fever and 22x Champion, 4x Judge's Choice Estates XXXtreme Legacy Passion. This pairing unites the bloodlines of Snowmass Mr Sizlin Rose and Snowmass Matrix, two influential lines represented by numerous championship-winning descendants.
With her fine, dense, well-defined medium fawn fleece, correct conformation, distinguished paternal and maternal pedigrees, and maiden breeding to Snowmass Pure Passion, Estates Sweet Golden Sorrento carries an exceptional concentration of accomplished Snowmass genetics into the next generation.
